My roof was stripped and replaced in one day. The roof crew all did a great job not to tear up my saturated grass. My yard was completely cleaned up. My roof looks fantastic. I worked with them to remove very large ice dams from my raised ranch. Not only were they fairly priced, and well below the price of others, they came same day that I called them. They were very professional, knowledgeable and stuck to the quote I was given to the cent. They were also very communicative via text/phone calls and kept me informed with the process as the work continued. We had CPG do new front hand railing, a roof, gutters, siding, and a deck for us to the tune of $43,000. They were at our house for 9 days which seemed reasonable given the amount of work that was done. I would rate the quality of the actual work done as a 4.5 out of 5. As for the details surrounding the work, it was an absolute “ train wreck “. We have 120 feet of driveway with a 3 car parking area and for some reason they decided it was necessary to park several vehicles in our front yard. They even got a truck stuck trying to get it out. If you consider pouring a few bags of topsoil into all the ruts they made a “ repair “, that's pretty crummy. While siding the front of the house, they destroyed the lights on the wall by our downstairs door. I replaced them myself after seeing how they handled the front lawn repair. They staged a trailer to remove all the old roofing and broke a chunk of blacktop off of the edge of the driveway. Something that could have easily been avoided by throwing down something to create a “ step down “ from the driveway to the grass but no care was taken there. Apparently, they left one night and it began to rain. 2 workers came back ( in the dark and rain ), went up on the roof, and covered something up that probably should have been covered before they left. Unfortunately, they threw a ladder up against the brand new gutters they had just installed, damaging them. We're still waiting for a replacement that has been promised for 2 weeks, which at this point doesn't look like it's going to happen. While installing the siding, they attempted to re-install some lighting they removed, thus causing us to spend a night with half the power out in our house. When presented with the problem, the response was, “ We're not electricians “. We had plans to have them back to build a patio for us, and possibly side one of our “ out buildings “. I think it's pretty safe to say at this point, we'll be spending our money elsewhere. Amazingly, they had some great reviews, but I can't give them one. Respect for customer property is paramount and we did not receive that. Once these guys get your cash, they're “ history “. ____________Update_____________ __________Please read___________ CPG made more than good on the work they did for us. The guys showed up this morning and replaced our damaged gutter! Later in the day, Chris and Gaby stopped by to visit us. They not only reimbursed us for the lights I replaced, but paid for dinner on them! Chris will send a crew here in the spring to fix our yard as well. They also brought us some awesome, personalized gifts. It was really quite a surprise, and in the end I can actually say that I have never been treated better by any contractor I've done business with. They were very professional, and completely restored my confidence in the business. They'll definitely be here in the spring to do a new patio for us and possibly a few more small things. Not only was it great that they came through, but now when I'm talking to someone about home improvements, I can say " I've got a guy for you!
